Recap of the last 2 months or so

Happy New Year!! I suck big time at blogging but hopefully this two thousand and fourteen year I can keep up with this and share here. Ive been MIA really just trying to keep up with the holidays, because as you know right after Halloween time just speeds up and next thing you know, its the NEW YEAR!! Which is what Im sharing today just a little recap of what life has been these pass couple months!

Just some hooping going on. My friend Dee taught me how to hoop and it was so fun!!
Had a GNO with some old co-workers and made little treats packaged up
with pretty doilies, twine and some veneers!!

Celebrated someones BIG TEN!! It was a Farrell's kind of night
with burgers and birthday sundaes!! They even sang to her!!

Amy Tan came to Hawaii to teach class at Ben Franklin,
which I didn't attend but I was able to meet up with the girls
for dinner at Nico's and breakfast Sunday morning at
Anna Millers

Learned from Thuy Bui of "Mypaperpinwheel" blog how to make
these cute Thumbprint cookies with Royal icing!! Delicious!!

Celebrated our White Elephant Christmas Party at my parents house.
White Elephant Party is basically where each guest brings a new
unused gift and a slightly used gift. It was fun and different but it
was to teach us that Christmas was not about our selves but others!! We
also had a snowball fight and lots of food.

Hung out with this gal a couple nights. Hilarious fun!!

Spent Christmas morning with my side of the family and my hubby's side in the afternoon
I'm falling asleep, so i better wrap it up, thanks for visiting!

Trying something different...

Hello again, its been about 2 weeks or more since my last post. I have been making small things and not posting but will try to be better. But I do have this that Im working on right now. With the holidays coming a little head start wouldn't hurt, right. This may or may not be a surprise for someone. Hoping she or he will like it, thanks to my crafty-godmother Dee, for helping me out and hooking me up with some goodies!!!

Im going to start to share my project life pages on here. I had these for awhile but Ive been sick and then Halloween creeped up. I used a lot of Allison Kreft's Recorded line, it is such a pretty line.
Ive decided to cram into a few weeks at a time to keep up and current. Being that my entire family has been sick, we haven't had much outings.

More Halloween treats

Here's some of my Halloween creations for my daughter to give out. Everything but the brown paper bag was Sizzix XL die cuts. I used all different brands of Halloween products like American Crafts, Lawn Fawn, Bella Blvd punches and stickers. Hope the teachers like them!!

GOT SEQUINS???

Since Halloween is around the corner figured I work on some SPOOKY stuffs. My Instagram friend Sara picked me up some American Crafts sequins from her local Target store and had them shipped to me in Hawaii. Yes I live in Paradise but this tiny island does not have very much craft store. We've got 4 Ben Franklin stores similar to Joann's and a Flora Dec and maybe 2 independent rubber stamp stores. But needles to say crafty supplies are very limited, so one has to reach out to her crafty buddies.

So I love everything and anything Halloween so I totally fell in love with these sequins, even thought about SAVING them but changed my mind and I actually really like what I did with them. It took me a total of 3 days to finish the laying of the sequins. I used some older   bellablvd.net Halloween papers that I stocked up on and some random Halloween stickers my daughter had. This picture was of my kids back in 2006. Till this day my daughter LOVE being a WITCH for Halloween. Come back again for some more Halloween crafts!!
